According to the Sony forums, there is a patch coming to fix the broken Motorstorm game.
It is due mid May, and seems to address a LOT of things.

Leading High Street retailer GAME is refusing to stock copies of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for the PlayStation 3.
The title, developed by Bethesda and published on the Sony console by Ubisoft, is not available in any of the company’s 400 UK and Ireland stores.

Sony today announced a new camera with built-in microphone accessory for the PlayStation 3. The PlayStation Eye is set to debut this summer and builds off of the EyeToy USB camera for the PlayStation 2.

Ken Kutaragi will step down from his position as SCEI’s representative director, chairman and Group CEO on June 19, Sony has revealed. He will be replaced by Kazuo Hirai, current president and group COO, who will take on responsibility as leader of the PlayStation business worldwide.

As reported by Eurogamer More than 250,000 of you have allowed your PlayStation 3 to contribute processing power to the Folding@home project, the PS3 version of which has been active for just one month.
Stanford University’s research now enjoys a computing power of 700 teraflops in a single moment, 400 of which are delivered by PS3 owners. The console has also helped bring recognition to the scheme, boosting the number of PCs actively contributing by 20 per cent.
The snippets team is on 14 work units and counting!
Sony has announced plans to cut the price of PlayStation Portable, which will retail for GBP 129.99 in the UK and EUR 169.99 in the rest of Europe from Friday May 4.
In addition the company is dropping the RRP of Platinum titles to GBP 14.99, with five games down for release at the new price point - Ridge Racer 2, Tekken, Killzone, LocoRoco and Moto GP
